CompuCom Level 2 Technical Associate in Hillsboro, Oregon

Overview: The Level 2 Technical Associate will work in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known customers. This opening is in the Logistics department which is a warehouse type of environment.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Performing interdepartmental deliveries using company van or personal vehicle (mileage program)

  • Picking up surplus equipment from users

  • Loading / unloading client equipment into the IT Lockers

  • Data entry: entering customer and system information into Excel spreadsheets

  • Preparing old equipment for re-dispositioning and e-waste handling

  • Processing assets returned from clients leaving the company; cleaning and testing used systems for redeployment.

  • Ensuring all client inventory assets are stored and distributed in a clean and professional manner

  • Opportunities to train to move into a more technical role

  • Other duties assigned as needed

You will have frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email, and IM. You will be required to update the client ticketing system and database. You may be tasked to assist with asset inventory audits.

You will be required to cross-train for other positions within the team to provide backfill coverage and participate in quarterly rotation of duties. We will challenge you with additional responsibilities, assigned periodically aimed to help meet client needs and provide you with continuous hands-on training and experience.


  • 1+ years of technical experience desired

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo

  • Ability to work through physical demands such as, but not limited to, wrapping and unwrapping pallets

  • Must have valid DL to drive a company van

  • Steel-toed shoes are required for safety areas (reimbursement provided)

  • May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods

  • Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily)

  • Technical certifications a plus

  • Must have a reliable vehicle to commute to the different campuses
