Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Network Engineer to join their team for a remote position. This resource must have experience in design and development of SDWAN solution using Cisco as they will be deploying Cisco SDWAN solution for Core and 2 remote sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10 to 12+ years of IT industry experience with a minimum 8 to 10+ years in the networking field
Minimum 5+ years of Network design and planning experience
SDWan knowledge (operational plane: management plane, orchestration plane, control plane, data plane) and working experience on Cisco vEdge (formerly Viptela vEdge) routers running Viptela OS (hardware Platform) and Cloud Services Router (CSR) SD-WAN Software or vEdge Cloud Router running Viptela OS (virtual platforms)
Experience in installing and configuring Palo Alto firewall
SDA knowledge (operational plane: Control Plane, Data Plane, Policy Plane, Management Plane) and working experience on Cisco DNA Center, Identity Services Engine (Client) and wired and wireless device platforms which have fabric functionality
Experience on LAN / WAN, DC Technologies - Routing, Switching, Server Load balancing and MPLS
Good experience in using Cisco Prime Infrastructure , etc
Has experience in Router / Switch / Load balancer installations and migration activities
Hands-on experience with LAN / WAN technologies like Vlan, VTP,STP,HSRP IPSec VPN, MPLS, Lease Line, OSPF,BGP, VDC,VPC
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
$75.00 per hour
