For this standard Desktop Support Technician role, we need candidates who are familiar and comfortable supporting Mac in an enterprise environment. 2 plus years of experience along with an A+ certification is required and a Mac (ACMT) certification is preferred.

We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Tech with a great personality!

Summary: Responsible for supervising the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.

Major Job Duties:

  • HDD / SSD wipe assets

  • Create CompuCom Clearvision cases

  • Update Salesforce Asset inventory System

  • Asset Management

  • Test, image and clean PCs, laptop, monitors, printers, and other related hardware

  • Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals

  • Set up, configure and add all hardware

  • Assist Corporate Deskside Support Technicians with large IMACs

  • Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention

  • Provide technical support to end users via telephone

  • Back up and burn end user data

  • Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes

  • Assist coworkers in resolution of end users’ technical issues

  • Assist coworkers in the execution of established processes and escalations

  • Diagnose, and replace parts


  • 2-4 years of hands-on technical knowledge of laptop and desktop design and software installation required

  • A+ required

  • Apple, Dell and/or HP Certs are preferred

  • Knowledge of case management systems is preferred

  • Familiarity with standard tech support concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • 2 years’ experience in a break-fix environment

  • Ability to lift and palletize heavy equipment (PCs, monitors, printers)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude required

  • High School Diploma or GED required
