Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Windows System Engineer to join their team onsite in Tampa Bay, FL. This resource will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining consistent and efficient imaging and deployment strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain various desktop and server images

• Develop and implement a strategy for managing and versioning image libraries

• Assist with the management and implementation of user profiles and group policies

• Conduct and review benchmarking results and establish standards and baselines

• Write and maintain scripts used to manage on-prem and remote environments

• Create, maintain, and review technical and project documentation

• Regularly communicate project status and progress by employing clear and concise KPIs

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with desktop / server imaging tools

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with PowerShell or other modern scripting languages

• Strong understanding of modern configuration and endpoint management solutions (Intune, SCCM, Tanium, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop management, user profiles and user profile management

• Knowledge of active directory constructs and relationships (OU, GPO, etc.)

• Willingness to write, maintain, and review technical and project documentation

• Understanding of ITIL frameworks, incident / problem / change management policies / procedures

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills are a must

• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels and across disciplines

• Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet project deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic and high standard of excellence
