For this Desktop Support Tech position, we need a professional self-starter with great communication skills and exceptional customer service. This Technician will be required to work onsite with 3-4 other individuals at this location.

Performs service, repair and/or installation of computer products including system hardware and software, MFD printers, PCs, single and multi-processor servers, and wired / wireless networking
Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related problems
Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures, using established procedures
Determines the most cost-effective repair / resolution to minimize customer downtime
Performs general maintenance tasks and resolves less complex problems immediately, while more complex issues are addressed with a higher level of support
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Acts as liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes
Ensures that all schedules, transmission, online systems, and problems are resolved in an accurate and timely manner
Consistently provides and updates notes, feedback, or documentation
Tracks and monitors issues; as well as makes autonomous, positive results
May use problem management databases and help desk system
2+ years of related experience, or AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
Outgoing personality as they will be working with the public on a daily basis.
Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
