Our client has a new remote opportunity available for a Vulnerability Patch Management Admin. This resource must work EST hours and is responsible for the application of 5.8 million patches by July 30 th . This will be a 12 month contract opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Main focus is on Windows 10 / 11 patch and software deployment remediation on physical and virtual machines
Develop and support PowerShell automation scripts to remediate failed Windows and Application patching on Workstations
Perform scripting and automation of manual processes
Audit existing scripts to optimize and create improvements
Develop an inventory of production systems such as IP addresses, OS, and applications
Organize all security controls
Use inventory and controls to compare to reported vulnerabilities
Mitigate the vulnerability by applying the patch
Document the patching and review
Assess vulnerabilities and their levels of risk to the organization
Prioritize patching (patching prioritization is not always from most severe to least reported vulnerability but prioritized as the most relevant impact to the organization)
Patch the vulnerability
Review and assess patch
Improve the process by continuously monitoring and reporting on vulnerabilities
Experience with SCCM, application packaging, and Intune preferred
Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
